To date, Waichi has made more than thirty woodblock prints depicting flowers and (or) birds. Ten examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Waichi’s drawing style ranges from realistic (e.g., pictures 1-3) to surrealistic (e.g., pictures 8-10). The ambiguity of the connection between objects included in pictures 8-10 stimulates thought which presumably is Waichi’s intent. To see more prints by Waichi click here.
